MedCare Multispeciality Hospital was founded in 1999 with a singular vision — to provide world-class healthcare that is accessible, compassionate, and centred on the patient. What began as a 50-bed general hospital has grown into a 500-bed multispeciality tertiary care centre, serving patients from across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states.
Over the past 25 years, we have invested continuously in people, technology, and infrastructure to stay at the forefront of medical science. Our hospital is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic technology, staffed by over 200 specialist physicians, and supported by 1,200 dedicated nurses, technicians, and administrative personnel.

Foundation & First Steps

Expansion to 200 Beds
Major infrastructure expansion, adding specialised departments for Cardiology, Neurology, and Orthopaedics.
JCI Accreditation
Achieved Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, meeting the highest global standards for patient safety.
500-Bed Facility & Robotic Surgery
Opened the new wing with 500 beds, ICU expansion, and launched the robotic surgery programme — a first in the region.
